Malva is a contrapuntal tribute to the eighties aesthetic, goth and synthpop, as well as to Francis Bacon's triptychs and Hitchcock's 'The Birds'. If the album could speak, it would say that "the 80's are a preview of the 10's," and that "the Goth is just beginning." It is composed almost entirely on the Bohlen-Pierce scale, which has no octaves and only uses odd harmonics.

As a singer of Zumbi do Mato - a carioca band of the 90's - he performed in several establishments which are already part of the city's cultural resistance history, such as Garage Art Cult of Flag Square. He composed almost all the songs of the band, along with Zé Felipe and others.
